  • Wear your life jacket at all times.
  • Do not litter; bring all trash back.
  • Respect private property, wildlife, and fishermen.
  • Be aware of water hazards; swim at your own risk. (do not dive)
  • Wear suitable clothing.
  • Wear sneakers or water shoes for wading. (required for rental tubes)
  • Carry food and clothing in a watertight container.
  • Take plenty of fluids. (not in glass containers)
  • Do not take anything you do not want lost. (esp. keys)
  • What is taken may get wet or lost!
  • Take suntan lotion, allergy medicine, bug spray, hat, sunglasses.
  • Use straps for eyeglasses and sunglasses.
  • Use or abuse of intoxicants is dangerous.
  • Bring along a change of clothes.
